Jughead #1
Archie Comics
The brief for this cover art was to draw Archie Comics' iconic character Jughead in my own style - and I was only too happy to! I've been an Archie fan since I was a little kid, and Jughead was my favourite (well, besides Betty and Veronica!).
I drew this traditionally with brush and ink on paper, and then coloured it digitally using Photoshop.

First, we start with the initial thumbnails - quick roughs for concept and composition…
Then to sketch, and once approved I move onto to inking, and then scan it in for digital colouring.
