Some illustrations are quick... knock them out in a day. This is not one of those! I had a blast drawing this fun Dr Pepper Maze tracking Larry Culpepper's trek across America on his way to the College Football Playoffs in Tampa, Florida.
It was produced and art-directed by the great team at Deutsch LA, and made its way to magazines nation-wide preceding the CFP. The team wanted a real retro vibe for the art, and you'll be interested to know that there is not one font or vector logo used - it's all hand-written and hand-drawn, even down to the legal disclaimer!
