Australian Penthouse took a short hiatus, but it's back - and a pretty classy publication if I do say so. (Of course, I only read it for the articles.) Why they'd let a schmoe like me in such a classy joint is anyone's guess, but I'm very happy to have my art included.
So here's a full-page illo on Joe Hockey's budget in the latest issue, riffing on the Hockey as Shrek motif that many cartoonists have been using...
Due to the long lead time, this was actually drawn some months before the budget, so we were guessing the issues. In reality, the toughness of the budget overshadowed everything else, but Damien Costas boils it down nicely in his opinion piece. Here it is in print... shiny, shiny!
