Gold Zombo

Just found out I've received a Gold Award in the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles' 52nd Illustration West Competition for my 'El Zombo' piece! El Zombo pinup/full page Illustration by and © Anton Emdin 2013. All rights reserved. El Zombo character © Dave Wilkins.

Thanks to the judges and Dave Wilkins for the commission and letting me loose on his creation.

I'm told it will be shown in an exhibition at Center Stage Gallery in Burbank, CA... more details to come.  In the meantime you can see the process for this piece over here.
