The brief was globalisation and closed borders. Here are the initial quick thumbnail concepts: A) Trump (and May) walking away from a broken Earth with their countries; B) Building walls; C) Trump hatching from a broken globe/shell clutching the USA; and D) Trump’s ‘hair’ as a wall.

The client chose the first concept, so I moved on to the sketch:

And with that approved I moved on to the finished colour artwork, which you can see at the top of the page.
